Roy Ayers in LA

Went to see Roy Ayers in LA last weekend with Tony Allen supporting. Amazing scenes. 1,500 people crammed downtown and getting down to some serious jazz funk grooves. All the classics were there in tight arrangements that left little room for you to breathe! The band rocked it but their take on the classic "Night in Tunisia" was an epic. Check this video for its full glory, 2:30 minutes in is where the sax solo takes the crowd to the next level with a little love supreme and favorite things throw in. 6:15 mins in is where the bass solo goes nuts. The clip ends too early missing more bass madness and a drum solo to end all drum solos.
